A luxurious hotel near Ripon has been named the third best in the UK.
A list of the 35 best hotels in the country has been released by Condé Nast Traveler - a luxury and lifestyle travel magazine.
The Condé Nast Traveler UK Readers’ Choice Awards saw readers vote for their favourite venues based on factors including food, design and “immersive experiences.”
And Grantley Hall near Ripon was ranked in third place with a score of 98.67 - a number out of 100 that represents overall average levels of satisfaction.
It’s the only hotel in Yorkshire to make the list, whilst The Fife Arms (Aberdeenshire) and La Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons (Oxfordshire) ranked first and second respectively.
A spokesperson for Grantley Hall said:
“We are beyond excited to have been voted the third best hotel in the UK in the Condé Nast Traveler UK Readers’ Choice Awards 2024.
“A huge thank you to everyone who voted for and supported us, it means the world to our amazing team.”
