Simon Graeme Auto Services Centre has been named as a finalist in this year’s Automechanika IAAF Garage Awards.
The Hampsthwaite-based garage, which reopened last year following a major expansion, has been shortlisted in the Best Single-Site Garage category.
The awards will pit the business against the leading independent garages from across the UK.
A spokesperson for Simon Graeme Auto Services Centre said:
"This is a huge milestone for us and a moment we’re genuinely excited to share with all of our customers, friends, and supporters.
“Being recognised at this level is an honour in itself, and it reflects the passion, hard work, and commitment that goes into everything we do."
The redevelopment saw the business move into a significantly upgraded facility, increasing capacity and modernising its services.
The new site, which opened in 2025, marked a major step forward for the company.
The expansion project allowed the team to introduce improved equipment and a larger workspace, aimed at meeting growing demand while enhancing customer experience.
The spokesperson added:
"The journey to this point hasn’t been easy. Building our new site has been one of the biggest challenges we’ve ever taken on—but it’s also been one of the most rewarding.
"Every single member of our team has stepped up, faced those challenges head-on, and played a part in making this vision a reality.
"This achievement belongs to the whole team. Their dedication, professionalism, and pride in their work are what drive Simon Graeme forward every single day.
"And of course, a huge thank you to our amazing customers for your continued support—you’re a big part of this journey too!"
The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation awards are held annually as part of Automechanika Birmingham and celebrate excellence within the UK’s automotive aftermarket sector.
Winners are expected to be announced later this year.
