A Harrogate woman has been shortlisted at the Pride in Diversity Awards 2026 after a successful endometriosis fundraising event.
Molly Woodward, founder of The Endo Gala, has been announced as a finalist for Fundraiser of the Year at the award.
The ceremony will take place at the First Direct Arena on 18th June, celebrating individuals and organisations making a meaningful impact across communities.
Reacting to the news, Molly Woodward shared that she is “speechless” and deeply honoured to be recognised.
She said:
“To see The Endo Gala acknowledged in this way is something I never imagined, let alone becoming a finalist.
“It means so much to know that the work we’re doing is making a difference.”
The Endo Gala was founded with the mission of raising awareness and support for those affected by endometriosis, a condition that impacts millions worldwide.

Molly’s passion for the cause is deeply personal.
After being diagnosed with endometriosis, she faced significant mental health challenges that shaped her determination to help others navigating similar experiences.
She said:
“When I was first diagnosed, I really struggled mentally.
“It was an incredibly isolating time. So to now be in a position where I can support others—whether it’s before a diagnosis, during, or after—means everything to me.
“I am truly delighted that I am able to help girls who might be going through what I went through.”
The Pride in Diversity Awards recognise outstanding contributions to inclusion, awareness, and community support.
Molly’s nomination highlights the growing impact of The Endo Gala in providing both visibility and vital resources for those affected by endometriosis.
She said:
“This recognition isn’t just for me - it’s for everyone who has supported The Endo Gala and shared their stories.
"Together, we’re creating change.”
