Knaresborough Town Women have continued their extraordinary rise after securing a fourth consecutive promotion.
The team, which was only formed in 2022, has already established itself as one of the fastest-rising clubs in regional women’s football.
In just four campaigns, Knaresborough have climbed from the lower tiers of the West Riding County Women’s Football League to the brink of the upper levels of the county game.
A club spokesperson said:
“An unbelievable achievement built on hard work, grit, commitment, and true teamwork.
“This group is something special. Every single player, every coach, every supporter - you’ve all played your part in an incredible journey.
“Thank you to each and every one of you. What a season!”
The team are expected to contest next season's North East Regional Women’s Football League Division One North.
