A crash between a car and a motorhome caused the closure of Ripon Road yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to the incident, which happened just north of Killinghall on the A61, at around 3:15pm.
All motorists involved were out of their vehicles and in the care of paramedics by the time North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews arrived.
The North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue log reads:
“Crew were mobilised to a report of a head on collision between a car and a motorhome.
“On arrival all persons were out of vehicle and in care of [paramedics].
“No Fire Service assistance [was] required.”
The road was reduced to one lane around 5pm before fully reopening.
