Outdoor retailer Blacks has reopened its newly refit Harrogate store.
The store, on Station Parade, has unveiled a refined, design‑led retail space that reflects the brand’s ‘elevated identity’ for 2026.
Spanning 4,004 square feet, the updated store presents a clean, modern environment with an improved layout and ‘curated visual storytelling.’
The refit store offers premium outdoor brands, including Rab, Columbia, The North Face, Berghaus, Merrell, Salomon, Fjällräven and Yeti.

“The reopening of our Harrogate store is a huge moment for the team and the local outdoor community.
“The refreshed space allows us to showcase a more considered product edit, bringing together brands and pieces we truly believe in, while creating an environment where customers can take their time, explore the range and get expert advice from the team.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming both new and existing customers into the store and bringing people together through our launch event and community hike.”
To mark the reopening, Blacks will host an exclusive launch event designed to bring the local outdoor community together.
On Friday 8th May, the Harrogate store will host a launch evening, offering customers the opportunity to explore the new space, discover the latest product edits, and meet the store team in an informal, social setting.
Attendance for both events will be ticketed, with limited places available.
Customers are required to secure their place in advance via Eventbrite: Register interest.
To coincide with the launch event, a limited-time in-store incentive will be available, offering customers something extra to mark the launch.
