BBC comedian and TV star set for Harrogate show A well-known TV star and comedian is set to visit Harrogate as part of an upcoming tour. Hugh Dennis, who has appeared on BBC shows ‘Outnumbered’ and ‘Mock the Week’, will be teaming up with Steve Punt for the first time in 10 years. The pair are touring the UK and will be at Harrogate Theatre on Wednesday 29th May. Punt and Dennis have worked together on various TV and radio shows since they first teamed up in the 1980’s as an amateur double act. Punt and Dennis Punt and Dennis first appeared on television in Jasper Carrott's shows during the late 1980s. The comedy duo have continued to collaborate despite forging their own separate careers — Dennis as a panellist and presenter and Punt as a screenwriter. Their latest UK comedy tour was in 2014, titled 'Ploughing on Regardless’, and so the upcoming tour will be their first in a decade.
