A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for the Harrogate district.
The Met Office warning for "strong winds" came into place at 6:25am this morning.
It will remain until 10pm this evening.
A Met Office spokesperson said:
"Strong winds may cause some disruption through Monday.
"Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely, and some short term loss of power and other services is possible.
"Some bus and train services may be affected, with some journeys taking longer."
