The Feva Town Crier competition took place on Sunday in Knaresborough’s Market Square.
The competition attracted competitors from across the country.
The Town Crier competition was sponsored by W Bowers Funeral Director and the judging pannel included, Chris from Bowers, Helen The Mayor of Knaresborough , and Ashleigh from Cenheard.
John Griffiths from Sleaford took first place, with Terry Ford from Otley finishing second.
The award for Best Dressed Crier went to Kevin Griffiths from Skipton, while Sharon Underwood from Sleaford was named Best Dressed Consort.
The event formed part of the annual Feva Festival programme in Knaresborough.
Feva Festival runs in Knaresborough until 17th August on the Market Place.
