Two men have been arrested after a violent incident in Jennyfields in Harrogate yesterday (Tuesday).
Shortly after 4pm, police received a report that a man had been assaulted and forced into a black Land Rover.
Officers attended immediately, and quickly located the vehicle.
Two male suspects ran off, but were arrested by officers a short time later.
A police spokesperson said:
“This will have been an extremely concerning incident to witness, but members of the public can be reassured that two suspects were quickly arrested.
"They remain in custody at this time, while enquiries continue."
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has relevant dashcam or video doorbell footage, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police immediately.
