A brand new literary event is set to arrive in Harrogate this weekend, bringing together authors, readers and industry professionals for a celebration of genre fiction.
PASCIFY CON 2026 will take place tomorrow (Saturday 11th April) at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre, with organisers promising a full day dedicated to fans of paranormal, science fiction and fantasy writing.
The convention will feature hundreds of authors offering signed books, including special editions exclusive to the event, alongside vendors selling themed merchandise.
Visitors will also have access to a programme of talks, panel discussions, readings and Q&A sessions included in the ticket price.
Cosplay is encouraged throughout the day, with dedicated photo areas and prizes for standout costumes.
Attendees will also be invited to take part in the inaugural Pascify Awards, recognising authors and vendors across a range of categories, with the ceremony scheduled during Saturday’s event.

A meet and greet event will be held on the Friday evening ahead of the convention, giving ticket holders the opportunity to meet selected authors and collect passes in advance.
Organisers say the event aims to create an inclusive space for book enthusiasts while showcasing a wide range of voices within genre fiction.
With free parking, on-site facilities and easy access from nearby transport links, the venue is expected to welcome visitors from across Yorkshire and beyond.
Doors open at 9am, with the event running from 9:30am until 5:30pm.
