Stump Cross Caverns to feature on Channel 5 tonight Popular local tourist attraction Stump Cross Caverns is set to feature on Channel 5 this evening. The Hotel Inspector, which airs at 9pm, will see former hotelier Alex Polizzi visit the caves near Pateley Bridge. Alex gives advice and suggestions to hotel owners to make their hotels a better place. Lisa Bowerman, owner of Stump Cross Caverns for the last 20 years, approached Alex in February. She told Your Harrogate:
“I saw that Alex was advertising for people to come on the show, including tourist attractions, and she wanted to help turn businesses around. “Phased with the cost of living crisis, we were left thinking how would we get through this season. “We approached Alex and she came along, and she was absolutely incredible - an amazing lady. “She’s made a massive difference to Stump Cross Caverns and I feel like we’re on the right path now.”Filming for the episode of The Hotel Inspector concluded in June. A preview for the show says that Alex attempts to rectify the “uncertain future” at Stump Cross Caverns. The Hotel Inspector will air on Channel 5 at 9pm tonight (Tuesday).
