As the clocks go back this weekend, winter timetables are being introduced across the weekend DalesBus network.
The DalesBus 74, operated by York & Country, will continue to run every Saturday throughout the winter, linking Knaresborough, Harrogate, Ilkley, Bolton Abbey and Grassington.
From 25th October, the service will operate to a slightly revised timetable, leaving Knaresborough Bus Station at 8.55am and Harrogate Bus Station at 9.17am.
Return journeys will depart Grassington at 5.00pm, Bolton Abbey at 5.29pm and Ilkley at 5.52pm.
Full route and timetable details are available at www.dalesbus.org/74.
The Saturday DalesBus 59 to Blubberhouses, Bolton Bridge and Skipton remains unchanged, with buses leaving Harrogate at 9.35am, 11.50am, 2.45pm and 4.45pm, and return services from Skipton at 10.45am, 12.50pm, 3.45pm and 5.45pm.
Meanwhile, Service 24 between Harrogate and Pateley Bridge in the Nidderdale National Landscape continues to operate seven days a week all year round with no timetable changes.
However, the connecting Sunday DalesBus services from Pateley Bridge to Grassington and Upper Nidderdale have now ended for the winter.
As part of a national initiative to make bus travel more affordable, the maximum single fare remains capped at £3, with under-19s able to travel for £1. Concessionary passes for elderly and disabled passengers remain valid for free travel.
Updated timetables can be found online at www.dalesbus.org, and a new “Days Out by Bus” leaflet will soon be available from Harrogate Bus Station and other local outlets.
