A new independent restaurant and bar is preparing to open its doors on Harrogate's Cold Bath Road.
The Drunken Piglet is set to welcome its first customers on Saturday 1st November 2025.
The site was previously home to Lancaster’s Bakery, which closed earlier this year after trading for more than a century.
According to the owners, The Drunken Piglet aims to bring “a playful, welcoming atmosphere” to the popular Harrogate street.
It will serve what it describes as “delicious bites from around the world," alongside Piglet’s Potions and Sober Snout mocktails.
A spokesperson for the business teased the new venue:
"Your cheeky new independent hangout serving Piglets Potions, Sober Snout mocktails and delicious bites from around the world with a generous dollop of humour and warmth."
The Drunken Piglet is one of several independent food and drink businesses to open on Cold Bath Road, joining the road's new pizzeria North Slice.
