After a resounding success last year, the Henshaws Beer Festival is making a return to Knaresborough and promising to be "even better" in 2024.
Henshaws Beer Festival to return to Knaresborough After a resounding success last year, the Henshaws Beer Festival is making a return to Knaresborough and promises to be "even better" in 2024. Set to be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May, the Beer Festival is a family-friendly daytime event followed by an adult-only evening session. The annual Beer Festival plays a crucial role as a fundraiser for Henshaws - a charity which supports individuals living with sight loss and disabilities across the north of England. It was able to raise a whopping £27,000 last year. Attendees can expect various handpicked beers, gins, wines, and ciders, all proudly crafted in Yorkshire. Fantastic local breweries, including Cold Bath Brewing, Daleside, Harrogate Brewing Co, Roosters, and Turning Point, will once again unite to provide the best of the best in beer. There will be live music across two stages and pop-up vendors offering a variety of freshly cooked foods, from BBQ to fresh pizza and more. Fun activities and games will also take place throughout the day to ensure entertainment for kids and adults alike. Flora Simpson, Senior Fundraiser at Henshaws said:
“We are so excited to invite the community into our unique and special space at the the Arts and Crafts Centre. “It is the perfect festival site, offering a large stage area, undercover spaces, and both outdoor and indoor seating. “We want to express our sincere gratitude for the local sponsors, especially the title sponsor, Evelyn and Partners, and the collaborative efforts of the local breweries who without the event wouldn’t be possible or as successful.”Helping out Volunteers also play a crucial role in enabling this charity event to go ahead.
