A new social event with a twist is arriving in Harrogate this week - and it promises to put a fresh spin on the traditional dating night.
‘Pitch Your Pal’ invites attendees to take the stage not to promote themselves, but to pitch their single friends in a short, light-hearted presentation.
Each mini-pitch is followed by a quick Q&A, before guests are encouraged to mingle over drinks.
Organisers say the format blends creativity, comedy and genuine connection in a relaxed setting.
The first Harrogate event will be held at Cold Bath Clubhouse on Thursday (27th November) from 7pm to 9:30pm.
Presenters must register in advance and send in their slides ahead of the night, while general admission tickets are open to anyone who wants to watch or simply enjoy the social side.
Tickets cost £10 for general admission, with presenter tickets starting at £25. A 50% off promotion is running this week using code PAL5.
Organisers Georgina Cowley and Tiffany Snowden say they wanted to create a community-focused event that stands apart from traditional dating nights.
Georgina said:
“Dating can sometimes feel daunting or pressured, but Pitch Your Pal is all about fun, friendship, and connection in a low-pressure and chilled environment.
“It’s not just for singles – it’s for anyone who wants a night out with a difference.”
The Harrogate launch serves as a pilot, with plans to expand Pitch Your Pal to other regional UK cities in 2026.
Tickets are available now on Eventbrite.
