Fountains Primary School near Ripon is preparing to open its doors to prospective parents.
Fountains primary opens doors to prospective parents Fountains Primary School is opening its doors to prospective parents. The school will welcome families with children due to start in Reception next year or those with older children looking to transfer to the school. The school is set in the North Yorkshire countryside, but is still just 7 miles from the centres of Ripon and Pateley Bridge. It provides an environment that gives children a first-hand experience of the outdoor classroom, taking part in Forest School sessions and using their vast outdoor space to enhance the curriculum. Children regularly take part in sports events and competitions with other local schools and take part in swimming lessons at the local swimming pool. They offer wrap around care, with a breakfast club before school and Fountains Fun Club running after school as well as a range of other extra-curricular clubs for children of all ages to enjoy. The school has been rated good both OFSTED and SIAMs. OFSTED found that "Pupils clearly love coming to this school. They appreciate that teachers make the learning fun. Pupils are clear that this is a very caring school.
