Ripon City Council have revealed details of the city's Christmas lights switch-on next week.
The event will be held from 1pm on Saturday 16th November, with family-friendly festivities planned throughout the day.
Fairground rides will be returning to the city’s market square from 1pm until 6pm, as well as live entertainment from 3pm.
Santa and his reindeer will also be making appearances throughout the afternoon.
The Christmas lights will be switched on at 5pm.
A spokesperson for Ripon City Council said:
“Meet Santa and his reindeer as they make a special visit to Ripon to spread some magic and see our fantastic Christmas lights.
“With free fairground rides and live entertainment, get into the festive spirit and head on down to the Market Square!”
