A number of famous faces are set to join us for the Your Harrogate Local Hero Awards at Rudding Park Hotel this evening.
Which celebrities will be attending Your Harrogate's Local Hero Awards? Your Harrogate's Local Hero Awards return to Rudding Park Hotel tonight in what is always a glamorous yet inspirational event. The Local Hero Awards are all about celebrating extraordinary local people who have gone above and beyond to support others within the Harrogate community. And we're delighted that we'll also be joined by a number of local and national celebrities on the night to celebrate some true 'heroes' in our area. Harrogate and Knaresborough MP Andrew Jones will be in attendance, as well as Yorkshire Vet Peter Wright and Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen. Harrogate Town Manager Simon Weaver will also be in attendance, casting a particular eye over the 'Sporting Achievement of the Year' award. Jason O'Connor from O'Connor Chiropractic, one of the event's main sponsors, said:
"O’Connor Chiropractic has been a huge supporter of The Local Heroes Awards as we believe it is right that we give our heartfelt thanks to these important figures – many of whom do not realise the impact that they have on those around them. "They are true leaders and inspirational characters in our community. By recognising these people, I hope it brings out the best in all of us and that we reflect on all the things we can do to help those around us."Follow the Your Harrogate Local Hero Awards on DAB, online and on your smart speaker with Pete Egerton from 9pm. You can also see the photos of our winners on our social media channels. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
