Weetons is celebrating 20 years since launching in Harrogate.
Founded by a group of farmers in 2005, Weetons has grown into one of the region’s favourite food retailers.
It was first launched as a Food Hall on West Park by a group of local farmers before adding a new flagship store on Leeds Road last year.
Richard Weetons, head butcher at West Park, said:
“Weetons has always been about more than what’s on the shelves, it’s about relationships with our producers, our customers, and our team.
“We’ve served generations of families here and are proud to be still doing what we love, 20 years on.”
Last year Weetons entered a new chapter after purchasing the former Crimple Food Hall site.
Jess Upson, Store Manager at Weetons West Park, said:
“Being part of Weetons for over a decade, I’ve seen first-hand how much love and care goes into everything we do, from the relationships with our suppliers to the way we greet every customer. It’s not just a store, it’s a community.
“As we celebrate 20 years, I feel incredibly proud to have grown with a brand that truly values its people and its purpose.
“The best part? It still feels like we’re just getting started.”
Weetons is celebrating its milestone 20th anniversary by hosting a summer full of celebrations.
This will include customer giveaways, in-store tastings and special offers.
Weetons on Leeds Road will be hosting two special events on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July, featuring exclusive offers, live music, entertainment, and foodie experiences.
On Saturday they’ll be firing up the BBQ on the terrace, while Sunday brings sun-soaked flavours with paella and sangria to savour.
