A Ripon pub has enjoyed a successful re-opening weekend following a £360,000 refurb.
The South Lodge re-opened on Thursday (22nd May) ahead of the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
A five-month closure allowed owners Star Pubs to introduce changes including new carpets and lighting, new TVs for sports and entertainment and an outdoor seating area with increased capacity.
There’s also a designated sports room with pool table and dartboard.

The South Lodge on Harrogate Road is now being run by Angela Shallcross on behalf of Star Pubs.
And the venue has praised visitors who made it a successful opening weekend.
A spokesperson said:
“What an incredible opening weekend we have had!
“Everyone has been so amazing, patient and understanding, but also really happy and excited to see us open again.
“We have lots more to come!”
