A new café officially opened on Kings Road in Harrogate today (Thursday).
Ginkgo café has launched in the unit next to Cafe Mamma Amelia and is owned by Tommy and Brigit Souter.
The new venue offer “thoughtfully prepared food” using local and seasonal ingredients, with influences from global cuisines.
The café is filled with plants, handmade ceramics, and the work of local artists in a bid to create a “relaxed, earthy environment” for both guests and staff.
Co-owner Brigit Souter told Your Harrogate:
"It's very very exciting. We've got a great community here on Kings Road.
"We're looking forward to bringing people together in a nice space with nice food and drinks.
"It's been a lot of work since we got the keys five months ago but it looks gorgeous in here and we're so excited to show everybody."

Ginkgo serves lunch and brunch, with occasional evening meals and baked goods.
It is open everyday, except Tuesday, from 9am until 4pm.
