Route timings revealed for Knaresborough Tractor Run

The Knaresborough Tractor Run attracts hundreds!

Excitement is building for the 2026 Knaresborough Tractor Run, with organisers confirming the official route timings for this year’s much-anticipated event.

Taking place on Sunday 8th March, a huge convoy of tractors will travel through villages across the Harrogate district, all in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and drawing crowds of supporters along the way.

The run will begin at 9AM from the Brown Car Park at the Great Yorkshire Showground, before making its way towards the Nidderdale showground at Pateley Bridge for a lunch break.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early at their chosen viewing points to ensure they don’t miss the convoy and Your Harrogate will be letting everyone know the tractors are en route, by travelling through the different areas with a DJ trailer.

The exact route is yet to be revealed

Morning timings

Knaresborough High Street - 9:30AM
Staveley - 10AM
Burton Leonard - 10:15AM
Bishop Monkton - 10:30AM
Markington - 10:45AM
Sawley - 11AM
Grantley - 11:15AM

The tractors are expected in Pateley Bridge from 12PM and will remain on the showground until approximately 1:45PM. As an extra spectacle subject to call-outs, one of the helicopters from Yorkshire Air Ambulance is expected to land during the lunch break at Pateley Bridge around 1PM.

The committee behind the tractor run ask anyone with a drone, not to fly during this time.

Afternoon timings

Padside - 2PM
Tang - 2:45PM
Hampsthwaite - 3PM
Birstwith - 3:30PM
Ripley Roundabout - 3:45PM

Unlike previous years, the tractors will not be travelling through Ripley village as they make their way back to Knaresborough and the full route will be released on Friday 6th March.

The Knaresborough Tractor Run continues to be a highlight in the local calendar, bringing together farmers, families and supporters for a day of celebration, community pride and fundraising for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
