Cold Bath Road is set to be partially closed for more roadworks next week.
The road will close from Queens Road to Valley Drive for one week - from Monday 4th until Sunday 10th August.
The work is part of Northern Powergrid’s major upgrade to the 33 kV electricity network across Harrogate.
A spokesperson for Northern Powergrid confirmed that the closure will allow contractors to complete the installation of underground ducting, which will support future electricity demand and network reliability in the area.
This section of work was originally planned for early July, but was postponed to avoid disruption during the Great Yorkshire Show.
Access for residents and local businesses is expected to be maintained throughout the week-long closure, and signed diversion routes will be in place.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for journeys and follow alternative routes via Cornwall Road, Harlow Moor Road, and Otley Road where necessary.
The project follows phases of ducting works on Cold Bath Road completed earlier this year, when a five-day closure was in place between 14th and 18th April.
