Knaresborough pop up shop fully booked until 2025 Knaresborough’s pop up shop is now fully booked until January 2025, much to the delight of its owner. The unit on Knaresborough’s High Street is dedicated for temporary tenants and was first opened in September 2023. And it’s already attracted a lot of interest for businesses including those who frequent local artisan markets, businesses just starting up and those which solely sell online. Owner and Manager Natalie Horner said she is “amazed” at the popularity of the shop. She said:
“I’ve always wanted to open a pop-up shop after doing research in to how good they are for small towns and at bringing people to our high streets. “It’s only when my long term tenant decided to move premises that I decided to take a leap of faith and go for the idea!”[caption id="attachment_98446" align="aligncenter" width="737"] Knaresborough's pop up shop on High Street.[/caption] The businesses filling the pop up shop range from specialists in clothing, homeware, lingerie, handmade crafts, bakeries, jewellery, children’s wear, photographers, artists and more. Businesses are given the opportunity to ‘pop up’ for one week, meaning products are constantly changing to boost footfall in the town. The cost to rent the unit is £250 per week, with all bills and amenities included. Natalie says she has kept prices as low as possible so that businesses can make a profit and enjoy their week on the high street. She said:
“The pop up is a perfect scenario for those wanting a base to sell from temporarily and to get the word out there about your business.”Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
