A Harrogate headteacher has been recognised for outstanding services to education at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party.
Mr Sukhraj Gill, Headteacher at Harrogate High School, attended the event as an invited guest.
He went alongside Professor Leigh Hoath, Trustee of Northern Star Academies Trust, which includes Harrogate High School among its 15 partner schools.
Hosted by His Majesty King Charles III, the event recognised individuals from across the United Kingdom for their valued contributions to public life.
Mr. Gill and Professor Hoath were invited in recognition of their service and commitment to the field of education.
Mr Gill brings more than 25 years of experience in education, with the last three years spent leading Harrogate High School.
Professor Hoath leads science education at Leeds Trinity University and plays a key role in advancing Northern Star Academies Trust climate change education agenda.
