Ripon's businesses will get a chance to find out about a local employers network this month.
Harrogate College, which has just started running some adult courses in the town, is holding a ‘meet and greet’ at Ripon Community House from 4.30pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday 24th July.
The event will be a chance to hear details about the college’s Employers Network, which currently has around 120 members drawn from a wide range of sectors.
Principal Danny Wild said:
“Our network has proven a great success in the Harrogate area and we are keen to share its benefits by linking up with more businesses in and around Ripon.
"The network was set up to create a direct link between employers and the college so that training and work opportunities could be tailored accordingly."
He added:
"It gives our business partners the chance to help shape our curriculum so that we are producing students with the specific skills they need, while also providing plenty of networking and free advertising opportunities.”
