Police have launched a CCTV appeal following an incident at a Harrogate supermarket.
Officers would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with an incident of theft and assault at Morrisons Daily on King Edwards Drive.
It happened between 8.10am and 8.20am on Tuesday 17th February, when a male suspect entered the store, took two bottles of wine, and tried to leave without paying.
When a member of staff attempted to stop him, he swung a bag at them, and left.
A police spokesperson said:
“This man, pictured on CCTV, may have important information that could assist the investigation.
