A second set of roadworks are now underway on Leeds Road in Harrogate, with disruption expected for two weeks.
Leeds Road is now one-way from the roundabout near St Mark’s Church towards the Prince of Wales roundabout.
Signs at the site confirm the closure is for essential works, with a diversion route in place.
There will be no access to Leeds Road via Trinity Road and drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Its the second set of roadworks erected on Leeds Road this month, following temporary traffic lights set up near Fulwith Mill Lane last week.
Details of the works and any updates can be found on the North Yorkshire Council roadworks map and other live traffic information services.
