'Treat your teacher' competition set to return with Harrogate BID

Our 'Teacher's Treat' gift card competition is back.

Harrogate BID and Your Harrogate are teaming up for a special end of school competition in which pupils are encouraged to 'give the gift of Harrogate' to their teachers.

The ‘Teacher’s Treat’ competition offers the chance to school children to nominate their favourite teachers to be in with a chance of winning a Harrogate Gift Card worth £50 for them at the end of the academic year.

The Harrogate Gift Card can be spent in more than 100 businesses across the town, with firms ranging from various sectors in retail, hospitality and more.

Bethany Allen, Business and Marketing Executive at Harrogate BID, said:

“Teachers have been working very hard to support our town’s students through the academic year, so they deserve the perfect present as a thank you!

“Go top of the class with the Harrogate Gift Card as it helps you to cover all bases, with many businesses across the town now accepting it.

“It’s a great way of locking spend within our local economy, so if you’re looking for that stand-out present, the gift of Harrogate really could be the answer.”

Last year, the ‘Teacher’s Treat’ promotion saw more than £4,800 worth of Harrogate Gift Cards purchased, highlighting the popularity and the excellent offering available through the card.

Fully funded by Harrogate BID, the gift card scheme aims to keep money within the town’s economy as it can only be spent with the registered companies, not out of town or online.

The BID team organise different promotional campaigns across the year to encourage visitors and residents to purchase the Harrogate Gift Card. From wedding presents to that Valentine’s Day gift for that special someone, the gift card has you covered.
