Harrogate Town striker Tom Cursons has completed a permanent transfer to Boston United for an undisclosed fee.
24-year-old Tom signed for Town from non-league Ilkeston in January 2025 after scoring 25 goals in 30 appearances.
His performances followed an equally impressive end to the 2023/24 campaign, during which he netted 12 times in just ten matches.
Speaking about the move last January, Tom said:
“I’m delighted. The chance to play full-time football in the EFL is something I’ve dreamed of, so to be here now with it all signed feels really good."
“I want to come in and affect things straight away, play a part and score goals for the team.
“It’ll probably take a few days and a few training sessions for it to properly sink in but it’s a really exciting time for me.”
Cursons previously featured for Barwell and Met Police before joining Ilkeston, and attracted interest from elsewhere in the EFL before deciding on a move to North Yorkshire.
Having appeared a total of 31 times for Harrogate Town, scoring seven goals, he now moves to Lincolnshire to join Boston United in their quest to remain in the National League.
Harrogate Town have released a brief statement saying:
"We would like to place on record our thanks to Tom for his efforts and wish him good luck for the future."
