Tesco has started recruiting staff for its new Harrogate superstore which is set to open in October 2025.
Around 100 jobs are being created, with applications open until August.
A Tesco spokesperson said:
“We are now recruiting for the Tesco Superstore due to open in October 2025.
“We are looking to build a multi skilled workforce. This is a great opportunity to develop your own skills and be part of a fantastic new team.”
The store, located at the former gas works at the junction of Skipton Road and Ripon Road, first received planning permission in 2023.
Construction was delayed when the main contractor went into administration, but Tesco has since resumed work with a new contractor.
Revised eco-friendly plans - including solar panels, timber cladding, rainwater collection, and a community garden - were approved by North Yorkshire Council last year.
