Ripon's ferris wheel is set to reopen today (Tuesday) following a fire.
The attraction in the Market Square was forced to close after a generator caught fire at around 3pm yesterday.
It’s believed the blaze was caused by sound-proofing equipment dropping onto the exhaust.
It was extinguished using a bucket of water before fire crews arrived - and the wheel has been closed since.
However a new generator has been installed and the wheel is expected to reopen at 11am this morning.
Those who were riding the wheel at the time of the fire have been offered a free replacement ride.
