A Ripon-based entrepreneur is set to appear on popular BBC One show Dragon’s Den next week.
James Martin, Founder and Managing Director of outdoor leisure brand Glawning, will appear in an upcoming episode on Thursday 26th February at 8pm.
James presents Glawning’s unique luxury tents and campervan awnings to Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Steven Bartlett and Jenna Meek, sharing the story behind the company and its growth within the outdoor and camping community.

Speaking ahead of the broadcast, James Martin said:
“What an intense and unforgettable experience, and a great opportunity to showcase our business to viewers.
“I’m looking forward to reliving it from the comfort of my own sofa!”
Glawning was founded in 2013 by James and Sarah Martin, designing premium canvas drive-away awnings for campervans and caravans.
The business has grown from a local start-up into an award-winning brand and has picked up honours including Federation of Small Businesses Microbusiness of the Year and other regional business awards.
