Preparations are underway for the return of Harrogate’s biggest mixed terrain 10km race.
The annual Harmony Energy Run Harrogate 10k is back on Sunday 29th June.
The ever-popular event provides a mixed terrain course, starting at Harrogate Squash and Fitness Club before heading into the Crimple Valley with views of the iconic Crimple Viaduct.
The 10km race is organised by local running club Harrogate Harriers, who are working to pull together dozens of volunteers, licenses and partners to allow the event to go ahead.

Distinctive blue and yellow promotion signs have started to appear on key local running routes to encourage runners in the district to get involved.
There will also be two parkrun takeovers in the coming weeks, taking place at Fountains Abbey on 3rd May and Harrogate on 7th June.
Local firm Harmony Energy will be again the lead sponsor of the event.
Race Director Dan Atkinson said:
“We are conscious that with the cost of living crisis, we need to make our event great value, which is why with the help of Harmony Energy we have kept our entry prices at the same level as last year, and indeed the year before.
“Now we need everyone to get involved and have a terrific day.”
