The 2024 Olympics are set to be screened at the Victoria Shopping Centre in Harrogate.
A giant screen is now in place on the centre’s piazza and will remain throughout the competition until 11th August.
Screenings will take place from 9am-6pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am-4.30pm on Sundays.
Coverage will alternate between BBC1 and BBC2.
An hour-long screening of the opening ceremony will be held later today (Friday) from 5pm.
A spokesperson for the Victoria Shopping Centre said:
“No need to book – just come along for free, lounge on one of our colourful deckchairs and enjoy!”
Deck chairs will be in place and packed away at the end of each day.
Visitors are being told not to bring their own chairs due to a lack of space.
