A new performing arts class that will allow children to "imagine, create and move" is coming to Harrogate.
Launched by the team behind ‘Move It, Fit with Katie’, the new class invites children aged 4-7 for music, song, movement, storytelling and more.
The trial class will be held on Friday 19th April from 4pm until 4:45pm at Calcutt Village Hall.
It’s being organised by Katie Steele, who has 12 years of experience in entertainment and teaching children, alongside her colleague Emily.
Katie said:
“Emily and I decided to team up to create an exciting new class because we both believe in the importance of keeping creativity alive - especially in children (mini’s).
“We wanted to bring a class that is full of variety - from movement to song, storytelling and imagination, a safe place for your mini to be who they want to be!
“Through expression of the arts we want to grow a community of confident and creative mini’s and give them their time to shine.”
Katie added:
“This class will be full of fun and laughter and not so much set to just one dance style, or one specific genre of class.
“We will explore all sorts of aspects to performance skills and hope in the future to put on mini shows for their families!”
