Much-loved Knaresborough pub Mother Shipton Inn has reopened under new ownership.
The pub has stood beside the Low Bridge of Knaresborough for hundreds of years, nestled amongst ancient trees and the River Nidd.
Following a short closure, it has now reopened under the stewardship of Alan Evans.
43-year-old Alan, who owns Stone Beck Pub on Grantley Drive, has been working in the hospitality industry since the age of 14.
The venue is already welcoming visitors for drinks - and plans to start serving food tomorrow (Friday).

The new Mother Shipton Inn held a soft launch event last Friday (5th September), welcoming visitors for a hog roast and music from local artist George Brook-Lowe.
Alan said:
“It was amazing to see so many friendly faces filling the pub with laughter, good vibes and plenty of cheer.
“Our team loved every second and we can’t wait to welcome you all back this week!”
