A former Knaresborough pub has gone up for sale - with a condition that it cannot reopen as a pub.
The Wellington Inn on Briggate is being marketed by Fleurets for £325,000, however its listing states that the freehold property is for “non-pub use only”.
The former Samuel Smith’s pub has been closed since May 2022.
Although it still has a bar, lounge and kitchen, a buyer would need to find another use for the building.

The property also includes accommodation upstairs, a rear yard, small garden and large detached outbuilding.
Fleurets says a car park across the road has room for around six to eight vehicles.
No plans for the building’s future have been announced.
