A return of the hugely popular Atkinson Action Horses will be the Main Ring attraction for next year’s Great Yorkshire Show.
The liberty and stunt team last appeared at the Show in 2021 when Ben Atkinson wowed the crowd as he proposed to his girlfriend and co stunt rider, Georgie, during the daring equestrian act in the Main Ring.
The couple have now been married for two years and are expecting their first baby, a son, in February.
It has been a busy year for the act, performing at shows across the UK and in the US and providing horses for a host of television shows, including Yorkshire favourites All Creatures Great and Small and Emmerdale.

They have also played a part in shows for Netflix and Disney, together with some high-profile film appearances which are still under wraps.
Atkinson Action Horses was founded by Ben’s father, Mark, and the team are based near Goole.
Ben said:
“The Great Yorkshire is our favourite show, as well as our local show, and we can’t wait to be back in 2025!”
Tickets for the 166th Show on Tuesday 8th – Friday 11th July 2025 will be sold in advance only, with visitor numbers capped at 35,000 a day.
The Great Yorkshire Show has sold out a week before the event every year since tickets went to advance sales only in 2021.
Next year's event will be the first for new Show Director Rachel Coates, the first woman to take the helm.
