Lightwater Valley shortlisted for best value theme park in UK Lightwater Valley near Ripon has been shortlisted for two categories in the UK Theme Park Awards 2023. The Adventure Park has been named as a finalist in the ‘best value theme park’ and ‘best adventure golf’ categories. The Theme Park Awards are now in their fourth year and have 22 categories this year, including Theme Park of the Year, Best Customer Service and Best Value. New categories include Best Reimagined Attraction, Best Theme Park with Animals and Best Themed Coaster. Lightwater Valley Lightwater Valley is one of 12 theme parks shortlisted for the ‘best value’ award. The park in North Stainley will compete against Alton Towers, Adventure Island, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Crealy, Drayton Manor, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, Gulliver’s Theme Parks, Paultons Park, Pleasurewood Hills, ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure and The Milky Way Adventure Park. The shortlist has been compiled using public nominations and with the help of a panel of expert judges. 25,278 nominations were received, with a total of 35 theme parks nominated for awards.
