Knaresborough shop window competition winners revealed

Winners: Martin House were given 1st place in this year's Feva shop window competition.

The winners and runners-up of this year's Feva shop window competition have been revealed.

Feva (Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts) is Knaresborough’s annual arts festival, bringing live music, theatre, visual arts, street performers and workshops to the town.

And as part of the 10-day event, which ended last week, local businesses were invited to dress their shop windows in pink.

First place was awarded to the Martin House's Knaresborough shop, which impressed judges with two themed displays: Fairy Feva and Funky Feva.

The shop takes home the Feva Cup for 2025.

Second place went to Knitting Pretty for its knitted Feva hearts, while Drakes Fisheries was awarded third place for an underwater-themed window design.

A special mention was also given to the Knaresborough Museum for its creative knitted display.

A spokesperson for Knaresborough Chamber, who selected the winners, said:

“A huge well done to all the businesses who took part in this year's Feva window competition and for all your effort and creativity.

“The town looked fabulous and you certainly made the final decision a tough one!”

They added:

“We'd like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our amazing Knaresborough Town Criers (and consort Andrea) who worked tirelessly over the 10 days of this year's Feva Festival and even prepared a specially themed outfit for the occasion.

“Thank you to everyone who voted, to all those who helped turn the town pink for Feva 2025 and to all the volunteers!”
