Knaresborough Bus Station will be closed next week, affecting services through the town centre.
Knaresborough bus station will be closed to all services from Monday 12th January until the end of Sunday 18th January 2026.
During the closure, buses will instead depart from the main road outside the bus station.
Passengers are advised to use the temporary stopping arrangements while the closure is in place.
The changes will affect the 1 service, which operates between Knaresborough and Harrogate.
A spokesperson for Transdev, which operates The Harrogate Bus Company, said:
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. There are no changes to bus times.”
Elsewhere, passengers using the 1B service are advised of a diversion later in the month due to the closure of Manor Road in Knaresborough.
From 26th to 30th January 2026, the 1B will divert via Chain Lane, the mini roundabouts, Stockwell Lane and Park Row before rejoining its normal route.
During this period, the following stops will not be served: Manor Crescent, Charlton Drive and Manor Court.
Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys during both the bus station closure and the 1B diversion.
