The Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park near Ripon is hosting its first 'dog day' this weekend.
The park will welcome dogs and their owners on Sunday (14th September), organised in partnership with Positively Canine.
It aims to celebrate the relationship between people and their pets while raising awareness and funds for the Lost Dog Tracking organisation.
Throughout the day, visitors can take part in a series of activities designed to engage both dogs and handlers.
These include a Gun Dog Scurry, Hoopers Agility, Scent Work challenges and competitions in the Fun Dog Arena.

A Dog Wellness Zone will also be set up, offering advice on canine health and fitness, with contributions from AquaPaws Hydrotherapy, Herriot Veterinary Physiotherapy and Vet Friend.
Sasha Jackson-Brown, Estate & Operations Manager at Himalayan Garden Sculpture park, said:
“We’re going to have trade stands as well with dog treats and other paraphernalia, but people can also come and enjoy the garden which is looking fabulous at the moment.
“We’re starting to get those lovely autumn colours, so you can enjoy the garden and have a go at some doggy stuff.”
The Lost Dog Tracking Organisation, which works to reunite missing pets with their families across North Yorkshire, will have representatives on site to share information about their training and work.
In addition to the activities and demonstrations, there will be a selection of trade stands selling dog-related products and treats, as well as a roving pet photographer capturing moments from the event.
Dog Day runs from 10am to 4pm, with normal garden entry fees applying.
