A Harrogate woman is set to host a special fundraising event at Rudding Park next year.
The Endo Gala is being held on Friday 20th March 2026, to raise money and awareness for Endometriosis UK.
The event is organised by Molly Woodward, who was diagnosed with endometriosis at just 19.
Now 24, she says her aim is to ensure others living with the condition feel seen, supported and hopeful for better treatment and recognition.
She said:
“Hosting The Endo Gala means so much to me personally.
“It’s not only a chance to raise vital funds for Endometriosis UK but also to bring the Harrogate community together to shine a light on an invisible illness that affects so many.”
The black-tie evening, running from 7pm until 1am, will feature a three-course meal, a complimentary arrival drink, live music, entertainment, a raffle and a silent auction.
The gala will also highlight women-led businesses and partnerships, with the theme of women supporting women at its heart.
What is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis is a chronic condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside the uterus, most often on the ovaries, fallopian tubes or the outer surface of the womb.
It affects an estimated one in ten women and, according to Endometriosis UK, it takes on average nearly nine years to receive a diagnosis.
The gala is expected to attract between 150 and 180 guests, including local professionals, businesses and supporters of women’s health and community initiatives.
Organisers say there may also be appearances from well-known figures, both with and without personal experiences of endometriosis.
Funds raised from the evening will go directly to Endometriosis UK, a national charity that provides support services and campaigns to improve awareness and treatment.
