Harrogate BID's Self Care Week is set to return in 2025.
Following the success of the inaugural event earlier this year, the Self Care Week will return to Harrogate on 20th January 2025.
Organised by the town’s Business Improvement District (BID), the week-long programme of events, the majority of which will be free, will offer the opportunity to the people of Harrogate to empower their health and elevate wellbeing with a series of themed classes, sessions and workshops.
The official launch event will be held at the Turkish Baths, offering the chance for visitors to indulge in relaxation and exhilaration in the Frigidarium, steam room, heated chambers and plunge pool.
Bethany Allen, Operations and Projects Executive at Harrogate BID, said:
“We’re so pleased to announce the return of the Harrogate Self Care Week for another year!
“Start the New Year in the right way and shake off that busy Christmas period by working on your body, soul and mind and take part in the series of super sessions we’ve got planned.
“We had a fantastic response to the sessions earlier this year and received some highly positive feedback from both the partners we worked with and those that took part.
“Harrogate is a world-renowned spa town that has been supporting self care and wellbeing for centuries. So, what better way to kick off the year in our town than working on a healthy, happy mind!”
The first ever Self Care Week, held in January 2024, involved sessions with coaches in yoga, Pilates, Thai Chi, facemask making and even a sound bath therapy class.
The 2025 event will see the return of some favourites from this year, along with new introductions.
Further details, including the programme of events and locations, will be announced in the New Year.
