Harrogate and Knaresborough MP Tom Gordon has reached a major milestone after opening his 10,000th piece of casework.
The Liberal Democrat MP was elected last summer and has since been tackling issues raised by local residents, from housing and healthcare to education, social services, and the environment.
Many of Tom’s wider campaigns have stemmed directly from issues raised by constituents – from securing vital funding to remove RAAC at Harrogate Hospital, to tackling unsafe spray foam insulation, pushing for the clean-up of the River Nidd and fighting to extend 24/7 bus pass access for disabled people.
Through these efforts, Tom has ensured that the voices of local people are being heard in Westminster.
Tom said:
“Reaching 10,000 pieces of casework is a significant milestone and reflects the dedication my team and I have to supporting local residents across a wide range of issues.
“Whether it’s fixing local problems or raising major concerns in Parliament, my priority has always been to stand up for our community and be a strong voice for Harrogate and Knaresborough.
“From healthcare and housing to transport and the environment, we’re here to listen, take action, and make a real difference – so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
