A popular cured meat wholesaler in Harrogate has announced it will be ending its popular takeaway service.
Yorkshire Cured Meats on Knaresborough Road had previously offered hot sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, kebabs and more.
But Owner Balazs Rudolf has announced the business will be “wholesale only” from Friday 31st January.
He blamed rising costs for the decision.
In a post on social media, Balazs said:
“Please be aware that we have not come to this decision lightly but the increasing costs are making it impossible for us to stick to reasonable prices for our takeaway options.
“It’s been a pleasure to serve you all and I hope to see you around Harrogate.”

Born and raised in Hungary, Balazs launched Yorkshire Cured Meats in 2022.
The shop offers a combination of locally sourced and grass-fed produce using Hungarian curing techniques and Spanish airing techniques.
