Carefound Home Care has been honoured with the Princess Royal Training Award.
The Harrogate home care provider has been recognised with the prestigious award for their care professional pathway.
Coinciding with HRH The Princess Royal’s 75th birthday, the 10th year of the awards saw 57 organisations across the country honoured, with major brands spanning healthcare, hospitality, education, construction, and charities.
The Princess Royal Training Awards, run by City & Guilds, celebrate employers who show outstanding commitment to learning and development and demonstrate how their training has positively impacted the business and their people.
Carefound Home Care’s care professional pathway was launched in 2023 and is a structured 6-month programme designed to ensure care professionals are competent and confident in their roles, so that they can make a genuine difference to their clients’ lives.
The initiative has helped the organisation reduce hospital admissions by 14%, grow care hours by 27%, and achieve staff satisfaction rates of over 95%.

The Princess Royal Training Awards are evidence-based, and there is a rigorous application process involving an online application, a virtual assessment from an assessor, and a recommendation from the assessor to HRH The Princess Royal.
