A film crew has descended on Ripley as scenes for the TV series 'All Creatures Great and Small' were recorded in the village.
Parts of the village were transformed for filming, with vintage props, period vehicles and actors in 1940s-style costumes bringing the setting to life.
Organisers of the Just Makers artisan market captured footage of the activity as production took place.
A spokesperson said:
“It was great to see Ripley step back in time like this.
“Cameras, vintage shop fronts, fictional road signs, old cars and actors dressed as if they had just walked out of the 1940s transformed parts of the village!”
The long-running Channel 5 series, which is based on the books by James Herriot, is filmed across locations in North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales.
